I always postponed because I wanted to keep improving, trying to match the magic of Donny Hathaway’s version…

At some point I realized I could never reach that, and that I needed to be myself. So I just recorded it.

He had a big impact on my approach to emotions in singing. Before, I was often restricted by them, thinking too much. With him I learned how to channel them, and let them flow spiritually.

All of that blended with the beautiful sound of my Rhodes Mark II, created this cover for you.
