A new song cover is ready!
It’s “Drown in my own tears”.
Originally written by Henry Glover, but mostly known for Ray Charles’s version that became a hit in the 50s.

I always noticed how little appreciation Ray Charles gets today, even from fellow musicians and especially singers.
Maybe it’s how raw and real his approach to singing was.
As opposed to a more refined and calculated one, typical of productions of our time.

Or maybe it’s just how old the recordings are that puts some people off.
I don’t know exactly…but my goal is to make at least a few more people aware of how beautiful and relevant those songs still are, by doing my own rendition as if it was released today in my niche.
